A day in the sunshine

It was a beautifully sunny winters day in Brisbane, a perfect opportunity to get out and about in the garden.

Residents have opted to planting some cute little succulents in one of the garden beds.

While some of the other residents have put together a foliage scavenger hunt.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Wishing all our beautiful mother’s a Happy Mother’s Day.

Staff have all come together to put together a little appreciation gift! All our residents were excited to receive their treats!

The afternoon was spent enjoying a delicious high tea on our rooftop lounge with lots and lots of yummy treats and cake!

Youth Orchestra

Residents have been treated to an unforgettable experience! Staff at Coorparoo Aged Care have taken residents to the Old Museum in Bowen Hills.

The Old Museum was showcasing the Queensland Youth Orchestra. Everyone was s very impressed with the young, talented musicians. The youngest of the orchestra was only 12 years old and played the bassoon so perfectly. He was definitely the crowd favourite!

After the show, everyone came together to take a stroll and nestle into a restaurant for some yummy dinner!

Everyone is looking forward to the next time they can come and see the orchestra!
